On November 1, 1999, the U. S. Bankruptcy Court of the Central District of California ordered the appointment of Robb Evans and Associates as Receiver of Mojave Medical Group, Inc. Upon appointment and assuming control of Mojave Medical Group, Inc., the Receiver took steps to achieve a meaningful recovery by positioning Mojave to be sold as an operating Independent Physician Association. Concluding a sale and getting a top cash settlement required the continued support of the 247 physicians and the specialist providers, nine Health Plans, and about 11,000 patients.
