We are often appointed in situations where it is too late to save the operating entity and liquidation is necessary. Because of operating losses resulting from improper diversions, poor business decisions, or adverse market conditions, these businesses are hopelessly insolvent. We then determine past due creditor and trade obligations cannot be paid from operations.
In these instances we have collected accounts receivable and have completed private inventory sales or conducted auctions on a national basis. When it exists, we also attempt to market and sell intellectual property.
